Greater chennai Corporation Bus Route Road Web Portal is Rectified
It was observed that a Page of the Web Portal displaying the Works details of the contractors for the Bus Route Roads was not working.
The Work Details carried out for the Bus Route Roads by the Contractors with the Work Order details was initially hosted in the GCC Web Portal on 7th March 2015. Since then this report was updated on a daily basis dynamically till date. The report was functioning for the last 2 years without any major issues.
Under this scenario the list of the Contractor details page had a technical snag and had difficulties in assessing the page. This was brought to the notice of the Technical Team and within 48 hours the issue was resolved.
We wish to reiterate that this Contractor and Work data was published by GCC for want for better transparency and accountability unilaterally without any force or directions from external agencies since 7th March 2015. Due to the recent technical snag the link had a brief disconnection and that too got rectified within 48 hours.
